Feyenoord v Leverkusen: Back goals to flow at De Kuip
Europa League last 16, first leg – Thursday 9 March, 17:45 GMT
Goals are likely to flow when Feyenoord welcome Bayer Leverkusen to De Kuip in the first leg of their UEFA Europa League last-16 tie.
Both teams have been in excellent scoring form in recent weeks, and neither defence has been particularly solid. Feyenoord have scored 10 goals in their last three home games, while Leverkusen have netted 12 in their last four away matches.
Team News
Feyenoord will be without suspended midfielder Orkun Kokcu, but otherwise have a fully fit squad to choose from.
Leverkusen, meanwhile, will be without injured defender Edmond Tapsoba and midfielder Exequiel Palacios. Robert Andrich is also a doubt after picking up a knock in training.
Prediction
This is a tough match to call, but Feyenoord's excellent home form and Leverkusen's defensive frailties suggest that the Dutch side are the more likely to win.
A 2-1 victory for Feyenoord would be a fair result.
