Riyan Parag, a member of India's 2018 U19 World Cup-winning squad, has emerged as a rising star in the Indian Premier League (IPL). Early Career and Rising Profile
Parag hails from Assam and made his first-class debut for the state team in the 2019-20 Ranji Trophy season. He impressed selectors with his all-round skills and was soon called up to India's U19 team. At the 2018 U19 World Cup, Parag played a crucial role in India's victory, scoring 215 runs and taking nine wickets.
After the World Cup triumph, Parag's IPL career began with the Rajasthan Royals. In his first season, he showed glimpses of his potential, scoring 181 runs with a highest score of 84. In the 2024 season, he had his breakout year, scoring 573 runs at a strike rate of nearly 150.
