WEB Chicago is an American rock band formed in Chicago in 1967. The band initially operated under the name The Big Thing. Later, they changed their name to The Chicago Transit Authority (CTA) after the city's mass transit system. In 1970, they shortened their name to Chicago.

Chicago is a highly successful band. They have recorded 38 albums, sold over 100 million records worldwide, and have earned numerous awards, including two Grammy Awards. The band is also a member of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
